Technical Support  
Compute4U offers technical support to all our clients on maintenance contracts only. Compute4U
also offers support on warranty related components. Other technical support not covered by a
maintenance agreement or warranty will be subjected to a premium. Please click on

Warranty
Warranty cover is issued on products of which are the physical touchable viewable component
within one year from purchase date except where an extended warranty does apply. Any labour
intense needed to change such component does not get included under warranty and therefore
a premium will be set for such labour.

Data Protection
The data collected will be used to amend your computer records and will not be disclosed to any
external source without your consent. It will form part of your permanent record. Personal data is
Held by Computer4U Limited under the terms of the Data Protection Act.

Technical Support Agreement

By entering into an I.T. Support Contract with Compute4U your problem vanishes. You will now have an I. T.

department of your own, just not in your building.

Our support includes replacement components, software support on agreed packages, email and Internet issues,

consultancy and advice on most I. T. related issues and most important of all ... peace of mind.

Your first port of call is our Telephone Support desk.

A qualified and experienced support engineer will talk you through your issue and try to solve it with you immediately.

If this cannot be achieved we will try to access your system remotely and deal with the problem.

Should the nature of the problem require an on site engineer we will escalate the response and dispatch a qualified

engineer.

Maintenance Agreements
Compute4U offers maintenance for your network, server, computer, laptop, type of connectivity, operating systems
and any other related software via consultation. Compute4U can incorporate a combination or maintain the whole system
for your business needs, this would give you piece of mind knowing you have your own IT department looking after and
maintaining your network thus allowing you to concentrate on your business.

By having maintenance with Compute4U you will be covered for all costs related to parts and labour and you will not be
subjected to any other additional costs other than your annual premium and the type of cover you take with us.

Software Cover
This type of cover relates to the operating system that loads your computer for you to be able to use. We also do
include most mundane applications like Microsoft Office. With regards to any other software that is used that we are not
familiar with we will endeavour to help and assist with the proprietor to whom it was obtained from and we do not
support such software under the maintenance contract.

Hardware Cover
With regards to this type of cover, this is the physical touchable viewable components that is inside of your computer. If
In the event you have a problem with your computer that is hardware related we will replace the component in order to
get you fully functional again. This type of cover is hardware only and any other additional time needed for software
related will be chargeable, for example if you were unfortunate to have a hard drive faulty, then Compute4U will call out
to you and devote the time and the part for fitting. If any software then needs to be re-installed as a result of the
hard drive, then this will be chargeable.

Full Cover
This cover relates a combination of hardware / software. This type of cover is the most cost effective cover as you will
not be subjected to any other costs for parts and labour just piece of mind.

Server Cover
This type of cover relates to a network setup of all the connections coming from and too the server. If you have full
cover and server cover combined you will have your whole network looked after by our qualified experienced engineers.
With this type of maintenance Compute4U checks the server or servers at interval times each week and applies
necessary changes as and when this is needed and keeps you up to date with those changes. Compute4U will apply any
updates or patches when needed to the server and or computer workstations. General house keeping will be done by
Compute4U on all workstations whilst having server cover and full cover.
